Highly recommended lodging! Honestly, this is the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. It is truly the past meeting the present, but everything I needed was provided for. I have stayed here multiple times for extended stays during business trips, and would not stay anywhere else. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from town as well has hiking/biking trails. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing; I have not had a single bad meal during my stays. Each room I stayed in was well-equipped with a kitchenette, adjustable heaters, TV, and comfortable bed with soft blanket and pillows. I would strongly recommend Ramsteiner-hof to anyone considering staying in the area.

Ramsteiner Hof is arguably one of the best hotels in the area. The hotel is conveniently located near Ramstein AB main entrance, minutes from both the 6 and 62, walking distance to the Ramstein train station and bus station as well as a plethora of restaraunts and two grocery stores that are also within walking distance. All of the rooms are spacious with wifi, a large bathroom and work desk with many of the rooms also having kitchenettes. Staff is absolutely amazing and have an amazing gift of truly making one feel not just like a valued guest but like an old friend too. The hotel itself, over 300 years old has a classic European style while still managing to be modern.

The only place I stay when in the Ramstein area. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel and the owners who take such good care of their guests. Very close to Ramstein AB and Warrior Prep Center. Also a great launching point for Germany, France. Great rooms, many with separate kitchen, living, and bedroom. The service cannot be beat! Freshly prepared eggs, any way you want plus an assortment of fruit, berries, meats, cheeses, and breads. Outstanding!

Even during the COVID-19 Pandemic they were able to safely accommodate a comfortable environment that made it feel like a home away from home. I spent 90 days at the Ramsteiner Hof Hotel on business and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The extended stay rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, professional and focused on providing excellent customer service. The hotel parking is close to the building and the onsite amenities are great. The traditional German breakfast buffet was filled daily with fresh seasonal fruits, assorted meats, cheese, breads, juices and hot food options! The hotel location is fantastic and is within walking distance to various restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, dry cleaners, retail stores and other businesses. The hotel is located within driving distance conveniently from Frankfurt International and or Frankfurt Hahn airports. You will get to know the owners of this historic hotel ,Stefan and Tonya Hechler, and will enjoy their hospitality. They strive to keep their guests happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Ramsteiner Hof Hotel to anyone that has high standards and does not want to be disappointed.

Second time staying here, Stefan and Tanya treat their guest like family. Great location if working on the AFB, few minutes walk to train station, and plenty of food options near by. I am pleased to provide a review of the Ramsteiner Hof . I travel often and often for extended periods of time, and often internationally. For example, in 2018, I experienced over one hundred nights in a hotel or a hotel-like accommodation – almost 33% of the year. When I consider lodging I look for the convenience, the comfort, something quiet, preferably not a chain, and good customer service. In western Europe, this often translates to a family owned/operated business. Near Ramstein Air Base in Germany, I found the Ramsteiner Hof, a privately owned, and third generation operated hotel which offers everything I need in a hotel property. The owners are Stefan Hechler and his wife Tanja. They are on-site 24/7, attending to their guests with the utmost efficiency. The Ramsteiner Hof has an excellent breakfast selection, a restaurant, beverages, superb quarters, ample parking and is conveniently located to the village of Ramstein-Miesenbach and the Air Base. The property is quiet, and clean, with manicured grounds, including a gazebo. The rooms are well sized and airy, with large private baths, and 21st century cable television and excellent WiFi. Although a historical building, circa 1761, with considerable modernization over the years, it retains the charm and warmth of an 18th century wayside inn. The Ramsteiner Hof is one of the best hotels I have experienced in my global travels. The Hechler family goes out of its way to ensure that their guests are completely satisfied throughout their stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone who visits the greater Ramstein-Miesenbach area for either pleasure or business. I look forward to my next visit to the Ramsteiner Hof.
